Medicine needs to cool it

Healthcare accounts for about 7% of all carbon emissions. What would it take to get it to zero?

Earlier this year, the Australian Medical Association and Doctors for the Environment Australia called on the healthcare sector to reduce its carbon emissions to net zero over the next two decades.

In the interim, both groups are aiming for an emission reduction target of 80% by 2030.

This episode, Rheumatology Republic journalist Ben Falkenmire
interviews Dr John Van Der Kallen, chair of Doctors for the Environment Australia.
