Four practices have been recognised for their exceptional commitment to improving the health and well-being of their communities
The RACGP has announced the four contenders for this year’s General Practice of the Year Award.
The finalists, recognised for their exceptional commitment to improving the health and well-being of their communities, are:
· Arkaba Medical Centre, in Adelaide
· Saunders Street Clinic, in Wynyard, Tasmania
· Atticus Health Carrum, in Melbourne
· Canning Vale Medical Centre, in Canning Vale, Western Australia
RACGP Vice President Dr Edwin Kruys said the 2017 finalists stood out because of their outstanding support of patients by providing welcoming, safe and innovative environments.
He said they were leaders in providing exemplary service and health promotion initiatives, as well as the health, wellbeing and education of medical professionals.”
The winning practice will be announced at GP17 in Sydney in October.”
