Are you ready to redefine your approach to rheumatology?

Join us at the JAM session, where science meets clinical practice in an engaging and informative environment. Since its inception in 2015, this event has been a cornerstone for GPs and allied health professionals aiming to enhance their understanding of musculoskeletal diseases, which frequently present yet are often underestimated in general practice.

Rheumatic diseases aren’t just textbook cases; they walk into clinics daily. It’s crucial for medical professionals to proficiently identify and manage these conditions, whether they are inflammatory, biomechanical, or degenerative. Our past sessions, including the virtual meeting in February 2023 that drew 440 registrants and our live in-person August event with 175 registrants, have consistently delivered impactful learning experiences that resonate with attendees.

The event is FREE for GPs and will provide 5 EA hours in the RACGP 2023-2025 CPD program. Register here.

The upcoming session in Sydney on August 3rd, 2024, boasts a lineup that balances depth with practicality. The day begins with a networking opportunity in the Exhibition Hall— ideal for fostering connections and sharing insights. The program then unfolds with segments like ‘Rheumatology Reasoning’, ‘What’s New’, and ‘Tips & Tricks’, each curated to challenge and inspire.

Highlights include:

  • ‘Crystals in Control’ by Dr Nicholas Malouf, which will delve into effective management strategies for crystal-induced arthropathies.
  • ‘Flares and Fires: Consider Auto-Inflammation’ by Dr Hugh Caterson, focusing on the world of auto-inflammatory disorders and their management.
  • ‘Bone Deep: Osteoporosis in 2024’ by Dr Queenie Luu, offering a fresh perspective on modern osteoporosis care.
  • A panel discussion on the ABCs of Biologics & JAK inhibitors
